My Background
About Me - Music Instructor and Educator in Leeds
I'm Eric Hayes, a dedicated instrumental tutor specializing in guitar, violin, singing, and bass. With extensive experience and a strong musical foundation, I'm committed to helping you achieve your musical goals.
My Musical Journey
My passion for melodies ignited at a young age when I picked up the classical guitar. Over the years, I expanded my repertoire to include electric guitar and found myself collaborating with various bands during my teenage years. In college, I was a part of 'The Scruples,' and during university, I formed 'Loud George.' Recently, I reignited my passion for 'Loud George,' getting the band back together about a year ago.
Session Work and Artistic Collaborations
Throughout my musical career, I've had the privilege of sessioning for notable artists such as Fox Stevenson and Feint, contributing my talents to their projects. These experiences have enriched my musical repertoire and honed my skills.
Teaching and Educating
In addition to my performance and session work, I am also proud to serve as a music tutor at both the college and university levels. It's a privilege to impart my knowledge and passion for music to the next generation of musicians, helping them develop their own unique talents and skills.
Band Projects and Creative Ventures
In addition to my role as an educator, I've been involved in exciting band projects, including 'The Serotines' and 'The Brackets.' In these bands, I consistently played lead guitar and handled vocals, allowing me to channel my musical prowess and creativity.
Living and Working in Leeds
Today, I call Leeds my home, where I offer instrumental tutoring services. As an instructor and educator, I'm dedicated to helping students of all skill levels hone their musical abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, I'm here to guide you on your musical journey.
